Position Summary:
As Principal HR Business Partner you act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across the this role you will work with leaders and the People & Culture function to develop strategic and tactical solutions to people-related challenges that will drive business results.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with People & Culture leadership on implementing strategic HR initiatives and rolling them out with assigned business units
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement People strategies and initiatives that align with overall business objectives.
- Provide guidance coaching and support on performance management employee relations retention development planning policy interpretation and compensation
- Partner cross-functionally with internal People teams finance legal and other teams that support the HRBP function
- Advise leaders on organizational design and change management initiatives to optimize team structures and workflows
- Ensure a human-centric approach to AI implementation while identifying opportunities to integrate AI into HR workflows to enhance the employee experience
- Drive the adoption of AI tools and strategies within the People & Culture function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and guide business units in identifying and implementing AI solutions to optimize their operations
- Lead performance review cycle and facilitate performance review calibration sessions
- Work with business leaders to analyze and present engagement survey resultsdevelop insights and recommend actions for client groups
- Partner with people leaders to identify top talent and support the creation of individualized development plans
- Facilitate training on employee retention performance and continuing education for Leaguers
- Partner closely with other People & Culture functions including HR Operations and HR Programming
- Build trust and credibility with all employee groups to create a safe supportive and open environment
- Have a strong understanding and experience of employment legislation (US & Canada) and manage all employee relations issues
About you:
- Successful career in a fast moving high-tech environment with experience scaling from 100 to 1000
- A proven HR Business Partner and skilled facilitator
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions and Labor Laws (Canada and US)
- At least 7 years in Human Resources experience with proven experience partnering with senior leaders and a range of client groups
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with employees at all levels
- Strong relationship builder and trusted advisor
