General Summary of Position:
Under the direction of the Dean of Engineering this position provides day-to-day oversight and strategic development of the Colleges undergraduate programs including outreach international and interdisciplinary initiatives. As part of the Colleges senior leadership team the position also provides input and support to the Dean in areas involving faculty and personnel strategic planning and development administrative management and other functions necessary for the Colleges growth development and effective operation.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Education:
- Ph.D. Ed.D. or equivalent. Faculty at the rank of Professor Teaching Professor Associate Professor Associate Teaching Professor or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills dedication to student learning and success ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality problem-solving skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
Additional Considerations:
- Management and administrative experience preferred.
- Professional experience with retention and curriculum strategies and management strategic planning program development budget development and administration and external relations.

This is a Non-Unit Professional position P25. Formal salary range for this grade is minimum: $138113 with midpoint of $179547. However salary is based on rank of the candidate and will not exceed $275000 for those at full Professor level.
