Description
Accountant Inventory Group - Upland CA
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor for Projects in Development our ideal candidate will be passionate about their work in accounting and be highly detail-oriented. They should have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with their peers in accounting and with a variety of corporate and regional employees.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist with gain/loss calculations from sales of real estate (developed and undeveloped)
- Assist with cost allocations and related reporting
- Assist with summarizing transactions for managements review
- Utilizing good work-paper practices
- Assist with the preparation of various monthly billings
- Ability to prepare month-end reconciliations for various accounts and related journal entries
- Assist with various ad-hoc analyses and reports
Other requirements and preferences for our top candidate:
To be successful you should have 3 years of accounting experience. A four-year degree in Accounting or a similar business degree is a big plus. Your experience with MS Excel should be intermediate or above including some experience writing macros. Other skills include effective verbal and written communication skills and prioritizing competing tasks.
