Centacare NENW is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Care Coordinator to join our team in Tamworth. In this role youll support young people aged 1225 from their first point of contact through to personalised care planning counselling and connecting them with the services they need. Youll be instrumental in helping young peopleand their families and carersfeel empowered heard and supported every step of the way.

Essential Criteria

• Tertiary level degree in social work psychology nursing or other Allied Health profession or have completed relevant study in these fields and willing to be employed provisionally to seek registration
• Experience in the delivery or willingness to deliver of both individual and group counselling.
• Ability to effectively weigh and evaluate personal needs client needs and the aims and policies of the agency and to respond and negotiate these competing needs as appropriate.
• Demonstrated experience in management of clinical risk or willingness to learn.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively develop and maintain positive relationships networks and therapeutic relationships with young people.
