The Madrona is seeking a warm detail-oriented Concierge/Front Desk Host to join our guest services team! This position requires weekend availability and a flexible schedule. This role serves as the first and last impression for our guests welcoming them with genuine hospitality ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process and providing thoughtful personalized service throughout their stay.

As a key point of contact youll assist with reservations guest inquiries and special requests both in person and over the phone. Youll also act as a concierge sharing your knowledge of local wineries restaurants and attractions to create meaningful Sonoma County experiences. The ideal candidate takes pride in anticipating guest needs resolving issues with grace and delivering service that reflects the refined and welcoming spirit of The Madrona.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience
• Handle reservations confirmations and guest communications via phone email and in person
• Provide tailored recommendations for dining wine tasting and local attractions
• Process payments accurately maintain guest records and follow all cashiering procedures
• Coordinate with housekeeping maintenance and food & beverage to fulfill guest requests promptly
• Maintain an organized polished front desk and lobby environment
• Handle guest concerns with empathy and discretion ensuring timely resolution

Qualifications:

• Previous front desk concierge or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• A calm professional demeanor and genuine passion for guest service
• Familiarity with Healdsburg and Sonoma County restaurants wineries and cultural offerings is a plus
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
