Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of janitorial staff.
- Train new custodial team members on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping mopping vacuuming dusting and trash removal.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g. floor buffers carpet cleaners).
- Respond to urgent cleaning needs or maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing supplies and facility needs.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
