The Role and Team
Fullscripts GSD (Get Stuff Done) team is looking for a Senior Developer who loves turning big ideas into working systems. Were the group that experiments builds and figures things out when there isnt a playbook. The team focuses on using AI and automation to make Fullscript run smarter. Whether thats simplifying how teams collaborate building tools that scale or finding ways to eliminate repetitive work. Youll spend your time designing thoughtful solutions shaping architecture and partnering with people across the company to bring new ideas to life. Our main stack includes Ruby on Rails and React but curiosity counts more than any specific framework.
Youll fit right in if you care about doing things well and helping others do the same. The team values clear thinking strong communication and a willingness to experiment. You dont need to have all the answers but you should enjoy asking the right questions. We share knowledge review code and celebrate when someone learns something new. What Youll Do:
- Lead the architecture and design of AI-driven solutions ensuring scalable secure and future-proof implementations.
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather requirements and understand business problemstranslating them into high-impact technical solutions.
- Take an AI-first approach evaluating how advanced technology can be the primary vehicle for solving problems.
- Empower non-technical teammates by explaining complex concepts simply enabling broader adoption and understanding of AI solutions.
- Reimagine and re-establish processes to make them more efficient scalable and optimal through technology and automation.
- Build and maintain high-quality fullstack applications APIs and integrations.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews mentoring and architectural guidance ensuring solutions are built to last.
- Take ownership of projects end-to-end from scoping and planning to release and ongoing optimization.
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in fullstack development with Ruby on Rails React and TypeScript or comparable frameworks such as Django Flask or Vue.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing AI-based solutions and agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar frameworks.
- Experience designing scalable architectures APIs and integrations.
- Track record of working closely with diverse stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills - capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
Bonus points you have:
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment particularly AWS (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda) or comparable platforms like GCP or Azure.
- Ability to step back see the bigger picture and re-imagine workflows or processes through the lens of technology.
- Strong ownership and accountability for outcomes not just outputs.
- A passion for mentoring and empowering others both technical and non-technical.
