Physical Therapist PT Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state PT license and/or NPTE (or state exam) passed
- Minimum 1 year of PT experience
- Follows HIPAA guidelines and maintains client confidentiality
Physical Therapist PT Responsibilities:
- Evaluate mobility strength range of motion and pain to develop treatment plans
- Teach clients and caregivers proper use of assistive devices
- Report progress or condition changes to the Director of Nursing and physician
- Document care progress notes and assist with discharge planning
- Provide compassionate respectful care to clients and families
