Job Summary
The Stable Keeper plays a key role in maintaining the daily care and well-being of animals through proper feeding grooming and exercise routines. This position also ensures the stables and equipment are clean organized and ready for safe and smooth operations.
As a Stable Keeper you will:
- Measure mix and apportion feed and feed supplements according to feeding instructions and water the animals
- Wash brush trim and curry each animals coat to clean and improve their appearance
- Inspect animals for disease illness and injury and treat animals according to all established guidelines and procedures
- Clean saddles and bridles to ensure the best quality and cleanliness
- Unload and store feed and supplies and continuously replenish bedding for all animals
- Whitewash stables and clean animal quarters
- Exercise animals and assist with other tasks as necessary

Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid drivers license to drive company golf carts
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
