Due to an increase in the number of children with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) St Marys Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed enthusiastic and experienced Grade 4 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to work in our SEND provision room- The Ark.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with some of our most complex learners including working within our on-site SEND provision room. You will play a vital role in helping children access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting.
- Knowledge and practical experience of using behaviour support strategies.
- A strong understanding of neurodiverse conditions including sensory processing difficulties.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children staff and families.
- A caring patient and resilient attitude.
