Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Assigned Subject(s)
Job Goal: Provide exceptional instruction to assigned students while working within the established policies and procedures of the district.
Employment Terms: 10 month Contract
Generally - 7 Hour 20 Minute Day Exclusive of a (30) Minute Duty Free Lunch
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Evaluation: Annually Pursuant to Oklahoma Law

Regular Requirements: Stand for extended periods; walk; twist at the
neck and trunk; bend and reach with hands and arms overhead
above shoulder and horizontally; repetitive use of fingers and hands
to grasp and/or operate equipment and demonstrate lessons to
students; lift/move up to 15 pounds
Occasional Requirements: Lift/move up to 25 pounds
ability to administer CPR
Visual Requirements: Close color peripheral depth perception ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist site principals curriculum specialists and teachers in Tier I Interventions
- Implement all programs in the district Response to Intervention Model
- Plan coordinate and implement Tier II Interventions for students at the site level
- Assist site intervention teams in designing appropriate interventions for students referred to this team
- Monitor progress of students in Tier II Interventions
- Attend site professional learning communities (PLCs) when appropriate to communicate on student needs share progress monitoring and assist teachers in the development of individual student instructional plans
- Attend site intervention meetings to insure proper placement of students into intervention groups
- Attend district meetings related to Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Collaborate with site teachers principals and curriculum specialists regarding student progress
- Collaborate with the department of curriculum and instruction to insure a guaranteed and viable curriculum for all
- Keep abreast of developments in the areas of Response to Intervention
- Assist teachers in data analysis and interpretation
- Provide leadership and coaching to other RTI teachers and teacher assistants at the site level
- Attend all district meetings as required by the department of Curriculum and Instruction
- Provide site and district level training as appropriate
- Attend all school events and activities deemed necessary by site principal
- Collaborate with other site RTI teachers and curriculum specialists
- Meet district and site staff development requirements
- Provide an analysis of assessment data regarding the effectiveness of the site RTI program.
