OVERVIEW

The Software & Database Intern will support the MIS/IT team by assisting with internal software development database management and research into Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications that can enhance organizational efficiency and operations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to both enterprise technology and emerging AI solutions in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in developing and maintaining internal applications and SQL Server.

Write and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and reports.

Participate in researching and testing AI/ML models for automation data processing and operational support.

Propose and demo AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency in data management and services.

Document workflows testing results and solution proposals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Students or recent graduates in Computer Science Information Systems or related fields.

Knowledge framework (C# or similar).

Experience with SQL Server (queries stored procedures optimization).

Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications.

Logical thinking problem-solving ability and willingness to learn quickly.
