Position Details:

Location:Rochester NY

Duration:This is a one year contract with the opportunity to convert to permanent.

Hours: 8am-4:30pm - Mon-Fri (occasional overtime may be required)

Pay Range:$19.00/hr depending on experience.

Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling addressing and shipping systems or material; verifying and recording outgoing systems or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

What to Expect as an Warehouse Attendant:

Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
Move materials to and from loading docks delivery trucks storage and manufacturing areas
Identify and label materials and record their locations on warehouse shelves to maintain inventory
Maintain inventory records within MRP system
Prepare products for shipment by identifying their location then pulling packing and loading them
Operate trucks forklifts and other equipment to move freight
Perform and report cycle counts
Comply with all warehouse
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Success:

Required Skills & Education:

Minimum of HS Diploma or GED or 2 years applicable experience (manufacturing warehouse).
Ability to lift boxes 10-40lbs consistently
Experience with a Stand-up fork truck
Warehouse/inventory experience

Desired Skills:

Use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Outlook Word).
Inventory Management systems (specifically SAP)
Certifications & Licenses: Forklift preferred.
