Job Summary

Lead UX/UI Designer (Onsite 5 days in Irvine)

We are looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer to shape the design of a next-generation social this role youll translate bold conceptual frameworks into breakthrough user experiences across web and mobile platforms. Youll lead UX/UI execution design systems and user engagement models in collaboration with product and engineering teams. This is a senior role for a designer who thrives on pushing past conventional patterns to create entirely new interaction paradigms.

Responsibilities

Lead UX/UI design for social applications with gamified and interactive features
Define information architecture interaction models and design systems
Translate complex concepts into intuitive production-ready designs
Drive user research and apply data-driven insights to design decisions
Collaborate with engineering teams to balance vision with technical constraints
Mentor designers and set standards for design excellence

Requirements

8 years of UX/UI design experience with shipped digital products at scale
Portfolio showcasing innovative complex interface design projects
Mastery of Figma for design prototyping and systems work
Strong understanding of frontend development constraints and mobile-first design
Background in social platforms gaming UX or experimental digital experiences
Proven ability to challenge conventional design patterns and deliver new paradigms

Nice to Have

Frontend development knowledge (React HTML CSS)
Experience with animation/motion design (Framer Motion GSAP etc.)
Familiarity with alternative platforms (decentralized niche or cultural communities)
