MetaPhase is seeking a Program Manager to lead the planning execution and management of complex IT programs for our federal clients. This role will oversee contract support operations across multiple projects and locations ensuring smooth coordination of teams client engagement and delivery of mission-aligned outcomes. The Program Manager will also serve as a critical liaison between technical teams senior leadership and stakeholders helping shape the structure and strategy of client delivery.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of contract execution across multiple workstreams and personnel.
- Lead day-to-day operations ensuring alignment with contract objectives budget and performance expectations.
- Direct the planning and production of program deliverables identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with internal teams client leadership and subcontractors.
- Adjust and adapt management structures as needed to enhance delivery and team performance.
- Coach and mentor junior staff manage performance expectations and promote MetaPhase values in project delivery.
- Monitor and report program progress metrics and client satisfaction.
- Ensure program compliance with CPARS contract requirements and internal quality assurance practices.
What We Need From You (Required):
- Minimum of 12 years of total IT experience including 8 years in IT and/or telecommunications system management.
- Proven experience in leading multi-project multi-location federal IT programs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to direct and restructure contract support activities as needed for optimal performance.
- PMP Certification .
- Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) in IT Business or related field.
- U.S. Citizenship (no exceptions).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Bonus Points (Desired):
- Experience leading IT programs in civilian agencies such as DOS DHS TSA and USCIS
- Familiarity with Agile project management or SAFe frameworks.
- Masters degree in a related field.
- Experience managing subcontractors in a prime contract setting.
Work Setup & Travel:
- Hybrid - Based in Springfield VA. Occasional travel may be required.
Clearance & Education:
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust
- Bachelors degree required
