Rhode Island Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and experienced Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workers compensation laws and practices excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage claims effectively. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid schedule.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $60000 - $85000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Investigate and determine compensability for workers compensation claims.
- Develop and implement effective claim resolution strategies.
- Support return-to-work efforts through medical and disability management.
- Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements collaborating with defense counsel on litigation matters.
- Ensure compliance with Rhode Island statutes regulations and internal guidelines.
- Accurately reserve process and manage claims payments.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Direct experience managing Rhode Island Workers Compensation claims is required.
- Experience handling Massachusetts and Connecticut Workers Compensation claims is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of workers compensation laws claims practices and medical terminology.
- Strong communication negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Bachelors degree and/or 35 years of Workers Compensation adjusting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern claims systems.
