Harvest Truck Driver-Yard Labor (Columbus OH)

Details:

Pay rate: $21/ hour
Shift: 1st shift 7am- 3:30pm Monday- Friday
During the months of October and November there will be a need for some Overtime after normal hours and some weekend work as well.
Temporary contract position with Raise with potential for fulltime with ADM.
Completion of Background Check required before offer.

Job Responsibilities:

Dump and load trucks
Assist with grain handling
General housekeeping duties
Willing to work overtime and weekends
Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
Harvest position seasonal support to end of Harvest in mid to late November.

Job Preference:

Preferred experience operating manual transmission trucks.
Drives Semi truck/trailer to on site location no CDL required as no driving will go outside site
Maintains truck log accounting to state and federal regulations
Cleans inspects and services vehicle

Job Requirements:

Commitment to ADMs goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures

Educational Requirements:

High school education or equivalent is preferred
Exhibit regular and prompt attendance

Physical Requirements:

Able to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting working in confined spaces and from heights bending kneeling climbing stairs and ladders working in a variety of conditions (heat cold dust etc) lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
