Senior Consultant/ Consultant Java Developer Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Work closely with tax professionals and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software solutions that meet their needs.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and deployment.
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate software development processes with deployment and operations.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.

Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java including experience with OOP concepts Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with databases both SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
