What youll be doing
Youll be joining CIBCs Cloud Engineering Team as a member of release management who will be leading on deployment strategies and consultation with various stakeholders. You will be the bridge between development teams and the implementation teams and be engaged in all deployments that are part of the application platform and assist with any incidents and emergency/expedite type of changes. Youll act as an advisor in change process in order to comply with CIBC standards and methodology and also be assisting with creating documentation for enterprise delivery methodology. Youll support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology having strong knowledge of SDLC and application delivery from end to end.

How youll succeed
Understanding and Documenting Requirements- Work closely with business partners to gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Create strong relationships lead discussions listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Release Management- Create update maintain all aspects of Release Management/Change Control. Able to manage changes from end to end including but not limited to presenting changes to technical advisory boards and enterprise management teams. Collaborate with change management incident management and problem management teams. Ensuring audit compliance and assistance with future audits. Strong knowledge of disaster recovery. Knowledge of AzureDevops and integration components. Understanding releases builds and security features of AzureDevops. Assist with reporting and user maintenance.
Solution Design- Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification solution requirements and quality assurance. Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational operational and process problems.
Who you are
You demonstrate 5-7 years experience in. Azure DevOps application development languages such as C# python XML are a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services is an asset to have.
