OVERVIEW
Cache County Sheriffs Office is looking for an Emergency Manager Assistant to join the Cache County Sheriffs Department. The Emergency Manager Assistant works under the general supervision of the Cache County Emergency Manager and is a part-time position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Emergency Manager in the development of the Countys Emergency Management Program and assists in coordinating County Emergency Management functions; develops implements and delivers emergency preparedness educational programs; assists in maintaining the Countys Emergency Operations Center in a state of readiness; assists in emergency preparedness training exercises and drills; works with city county and state Emergency Managers for plan and response coordination; and performs other directly related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors or Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Emergency Management Disaster Mitigation Communications Criminal Justice or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in Emergency Management or Public Safety.
