The Torit Picker/Packer located in Rensselaer IN is responsible for performing a variety of shipping receiving and picking tasks to ensure accurate and efficient movement of materials throughout the Distribution Center. This position ensures all inbound and outbound products are handled safely accurately and in compliance with Donaldsons quality procedures. The role includes operating powered industrial equipment maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring all customer orders are picked packed and loaded correctly and efficiently.

Hours of Work:
Split shift Hours are 8:30 am 5:00 pm

Role Responsibilities
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
Audit and inspect freight for shortages overages damages or non-compliance.
Communicate exceptions to Leads/Customer Service Representatives (CSR).
Capture and document exceptions with photos uploaded to the shared drive.
Receive and accurately record inbound freight in the system.
Put away product efficiently using RF and powered equipment.
Read and interpret customer orders to identify item locations.
Pick and count correct quantities of the correct items from designated locations.
Enter accurate information into computer systems to maintain inventory accuracy.
Move inventory using powered industrial equipment (PIE).
Keep aisles staging areas and storage locations clean and organized.
Pack products securely and ensure labeling accuracy.
Locate pallets and prepare shipments for staging or loading.
Operate powered equipment to load move and stage inventory.
Process UPS shipments through WorldShip and Oracle.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform daily cycle counts.
Conduct trailer quality audits and monitor product movement to ensure flow.
Operate equipment safely and comply with all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
Report quality variances and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned to support Donaldsons mission vision and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must meet legal minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to read write and perform basic math (add subtract multiply divide).
Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment.
Ability to stand for 812 hours per day and walk frequently.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and team lift up to 150 lbs.
Ability to push pull twist bend and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience operating powered industrial equipment (fork truck reach truck and walkie).
Proficiency in Oracle preferred; experience with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook) and internet navigation.
Strong attendance record with regular and predictable reliability.
