We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative SAS Viya Platform Engineer to lead the design development and orchestration of the SAS Viya platform on a Zero Trust Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This role demands deep technical expertise leadership capabilities and a passion for building scalable secure and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and deployment of the SAS Viya platform on GCP with Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate with solution architects to plan and execute technology refresh projects ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Enhance user experience through seamless URL management analytics integration localization and component interoperability.
• Drive continuous improvement of the reusable SAS Dataset library.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to support dynamic content across multiple products.
• Mentor junior engineers conduct code reviews and promote best practices in development and performance optimization.
• Align technical solutions with business goals by partnering with product owners and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation teamwork and Inner Source contributions.

Experience Required

• 15 years of overall IT experience.
• 10 years as a Java Full Stack Developer.
• 5 years as a SAS Administrator with hands-on SAS Viya experience.
• 10 years in core Java API development.
• 5 years of experience with Docker and OpenShift deployments.
• 5 years working with GCP Cloud Run.
• 5 years of experience with PostgreSQL.

Experience Preferred

• C: 2 years
• .NET Development: 1 year
• Linux Administration: 3 years
