Sentara Therapy Center Edinburgh located in Chesapeake VA is looking for a Full-time Day Physical Therapist Assistant.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara youwill administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans carry out routine functions and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Education:
Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required) obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program
Holds a current Physical Therapist Licensure
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
American Heart Association (AHA)
RQI American Heart Association (AHA)
RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
Experience:
2 years
