Position: Sleep Technologist
Location: Ithaca NY (14850)
Type: Contract Local or Travel Night Shift 3 days/week
Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $50/hr ($1875/week)
Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Sleep Technologistfor an exciting job in Ithaca NY.
Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment and patients for overnight sleep studies.
Apply electrodes/sensors per 1020 system and monitor physiological data (EEG EOG EMG ECG respiratory effort airflow O₂ saturation).
Score studies per AASM guidelines and support physician review.
Troubleshoot equipment maintain documentation and ensure lab cleanliness.
Follow safety HIPAA and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Polysomnographic program or equivalent.
RPSGT (or registry eligible) and BLS certified.
1 year recent overnight sleep study experience preferred.
Knowledge of CPAP/BiPAP titration and split-night protocols a plus.
Strong observational analytical and communication skills.
