As Intern - Connected Flow Implementation & Material Planning you will support theMaterials Planning and Execution (MP&E)function. You will optimize material flow supply chain processes and SAP utilization to achieve on-time delivery competitive inventory levels and alignment with customer requirements.
You will gain hands-on experience in planning coordination and execution of materials strategies while collaborating across multiple functions.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Assist in Connected Flow Implementation: Support the deployment of Connected Flow initiatives including process mapping data analysis and system integration to enhance material flow efficiency
Material Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production sales purchasing and suppliers to schedule the receipt of materials and ensure alignment with production demand
Data Management and Reporting: Update databases track raw material readiness and edit routine documents to maintain accurate and actionable information
Procurement and Expediting: Follow up on procurement activities expedite critical materials and ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules
Problem Solving and Resolution: Learn how to evaluate and resolve manufacturing material quality and supply issues ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
Inventory Optimization: Assist in maintaining competitive inventory levels through effective supply chain management and SAP utilization
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with various teams to ensure the shop has the necessary materials and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements
Project Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of e-sourcing plans to reduce cost and cycle time
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering field preferably in Management Engineering
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools expecially Excel
Fluent in Italian and good level of English
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
Clear Thinker: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Passion for technology willingness to learn from others
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
