Retail Bank & Technology is at the heart of INGs strategy aimed at equipping our engineers with all the tools they need! The tools we provide them enables them to create business applications that has a differentiating customer experience. Our product area is called One Experience and we also contribute towards the Touchpoint Platform. We own three major products the Unified Design System Web and Mobile SDKs as well as Content Management as a Service.
The team
Were SuperHighway a tight-knit squad of six engineers within INGs Web and Mobile SDK domain. As we grow were tackling one of our most exciting challenges yet: building a globally scalable Micro-Frontend strategy to elevate both customer and developer experiences. We call this initiative the Configurable App Framework.
In addition to this our team designs maintains and supports several core web libraries and componentsincluding a custom router and a mock server kitthat are used across INGs frontend ecosystem.
We also own and operate the Global Frontend Pipelines which are built as deployment-as-code solutions. These pipelines are central to enabling seamless scalable deployments in a Micro-Frontend architecture.

10 years experience in development/software engineering and working within agile organisations.
Strong skills in JavaScript with a focus on the core and how JavaScript works.
Experience with the NodeJS ecosystem and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest JavaScript releases and features.
Familiarity with WebComponents meta-specification.
Experience with frontend build tooling e.g. Webpack and Rollup.
Experience with CI/CD tooling preferably Azure DevOps.
Deployments to CDN NFM Feeds release procedures risk evaluation and security.
Desirable Design Patterns: Single Page Applications Server-Side Rendering / Static Site Generation (NextJS) SEO optimization.
Well versed with TDD BDD and testing tools such as Mocha Chai Selenium Karma etc.
Strong technical communication skills and keen to engage with customers.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
