Job Summary
- Infosys is seeking a Desktop Administrator. This role is responsible for the support and management of all desktop assets including end-user technology voice equipment mobile phones and desktop peripherals. Ownership and implantation of IMAC requests. Prime point of contact for the IT move requests as well as escalation point of contact from L1 engineers. This role will be responsible for receiving building configuring installing moving repairing decommissioning and inventory management of end user assets.
RequiredQualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofSan Francisco CA or bewilling to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
At least 1 year of IT experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- Experience in desktop support
- Able to speak fluent English.
- Competent in computer hardware break-fix.
- Competent in software (Windows 11 Microsoft 365 etc.) break-fix.
- Perform installation configuration and deployment of operating systems and standard software on laptops and desktop computers.
- Audio-video conference and meeting room equipment (Microsoft Teams Room Crestron Polycom) support.
- Experienced/exposure on Mobile Device Management support.
- Other support areas: V/VIPs VPN office network printers copiers basic IT network diagnosis and troubleshoot.

- Proven experience of adherence to detailed processes
- Self-motivated personality with a very high level of attention to detail
- The ability to maintain and develop formal and informal relationships with key stakeholders
- The ability to multi-task in a high paced and demanding environment is crucial.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face.
