Join us to explore the impact of the rotor lamination stacking method on the efficiency of the electric machines.
This assignment will focus on the design of an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (IPMSM) which targets evaluating effects of Manufacturing Processes on Core Losses of Electrical Machines.
The effect of bonding interlocking and welding needs to be conducted in a FEA environment where thermal stresses need to be induced and geometrical changes need to be incorporated in e-machine design for different manufacturing processes. The goal is to evaluate the impact on total iron losses efficiency and performance characteristics. A prior literature survey shall be conducted to identify the gaps in currents process vs the proposed ones and ways of incorporating them in the FEA model.
The conclusion of the assignment should include comparative analysis of impact of different manufacturing processes on machine performance and methods to minimize Environmental Load unit (ELU) as well as costs. A detailed statistical view of different methods currently used in industry and their impacts.
