Associate Lawyer (Litigation & Family)
Location: Coquitlam
Salary: $110000-$137000
Position Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Lawyer specializing in Litigation and Family Law. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and be ready to join a collaborative supportive and dynamic team in an in-office role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents conduct research and prepare briefs and pleadings
- Advise clients on legal matters
- Coordinate and file discovery documents
- Represent clients in court negotiations and alternative dispute resolution
- Communicate with senior associates and partners to ensure efficient case management
- Respond promptly to client needs and maintain clear verbal and written communication
Candidate Profile:
- Member of the Law Society of BC or eligible for membership without articles (or equivalent in a similar jurisdiction)
- Demonstrated advocacy and negotiation skills
- Strong practice management abilities
- Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $110000 to $137000 (commensurate with experience)
