To support the ongoing growth of our businesswe are hiringField ServiceEngineerbasedinSouthernGermany. This is afield-basedposition primarily covering theErlangen/ Nürnbergregion withadditionaltravel across Central Europe asrequired.
Role Purpose
To ensure that Plasma Technology equipment is fully functional and available for customer use. The roleinvolvesextensivetravel within Germany and to other countries in Central Europe.
YourKey Responsibilities would be:
Carry out the commissioning of equipment including any operational and maintenance training requirements
Respond to emergency breakdowns for any warranty and service contract work.
Provide a visit report for each customer visit detailing work completed outstanding issues time spent on site travelling etc. and help to ensure that all chargeable work is invoiced to the customer promptly.
Authorise system buy-off prior to shipment either with or in the absence of the customer.
Liaise with technical support and systems engineering on any potential or actual system problems.
Liaise with Sales Team to provide useful background information.
Help tomaintainan accuraterecord of the status of systems timing of warranty parts supplied and service contracts.
Keepup to dateall relevant enquiries and project files on any significant information.
Provide detailed andaccuraterecord of expense incurred on behalf of the Company.
Report regularly to the EMEA Team Leader on all relevant issues and for PDRobjectives.

FormalElectrical/Electronic qualification
Substantial relevant experience and training
Ability to interpret Electricalschematicsand Mechanical drawings
Good PCskills (Word Excel PPT)
PLC experienceis ofadvantage
Experience of Semi-Conductor orsimilarhigh-techelectronicindustry
Fluent Englishand Germanspeaker
Driving licence
Be prepared totravelextensively
Able to work on own initiative
Clear & concise communicator
Able to prioritise multiple tasks
