About the Team

LHS Radiology is a dynamic patient-focused team dedicated to providing high-quality imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and exceptional care. Working collaboratively with providers and departments across Lakewood Health System the team plays a vital role in delivering timely results and advancing the organizations mission of improving health and well-being.

Mission for Position

The Ultrasound Technologists mission is to deliver precise high-quality diagnostic imaging through compassionate patient care technical excellence and collaboration with providers to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional outcomes at Lakewood Health System.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures
• Interact professionally with patients and staff
• Collaborate with team players to complete tasks
• Process imaging and report requests
• Schedule patients and answer department phone
• Critically think in a dynamic workspace

Position Type

This is a casual position. Casual employees are called to work based on staffing needs without a guaranteed number of hours.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer; new graduates maybe considered but must have at least one credential in ultrasound by the ARDMS

• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physician staff and patients.
• Basic computer skills Knowledge of Excel and Power Point desired
• Familiar with EMR systems PACS systems and EPIC desired.
