Job Summary
As a member of the team youll have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled engineers and scientists to bring new experiences to Apple products. This position requires a self-motivated algorithm engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including:
- MS/PhD in Computer Science Math Robotics or related field
- Strong software engineering background
- Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions
- Curiosity about new technologies flexibility and openness to ambiguity
- Proficiency with modern ML approaches (LLMs Diffusion Models etc.) as well as traditional ML methods (Linear Regression Decision Trees etc.)
- Strong proficiency with classical robotic algorithms (optimization graph search etc.)
- Strong applied math background (e.g. graphics vision optimization controls or planning)
- Familiarity with the full robotics stack (controls perception motion planning etc.)
- Familiarity with Swift and Apple developer tools
