The Infrastructure Management Section of Public Works is responsible for providing replacement and maintenance related support and service to approximately 2300 provincially owned assets throughout the province of Nova Scotia. Infrastructure Management supports a wide range of Client requests ranging from Electrical Mechanical and Architectural replacements as well as Maintenance related repairs and solutions. We are also responsible for the oversight of various Dams and Historical Vessels stationed throughout the province. Infrastructure Management supports a wide range of historical buildings and assets and helps to maintain the provincial diversity and culture these assets represent.

The Project Coordinator provides leadership coordination and technical oversight to a multi-discipline trade team responsible for construction renovation and maintenance projects within provincially owned and leased facilities. Working under the direction of the Trade Shop Manager of (Construction and Maintenance) the Project Coordinator ensures that all work is planned prioritized and completed efficiently safely and in accordance with departmental standards building codes and project specifications.
You have a Bachelors degree plus five (5) years of related experience in a construction environment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable.

This is a Term employment opportunity with an anticipated end date of November 27 2026. The appointment status Term is dependent on the start date of the successful candidate.

Pay Grade: PR 13
Salary Range: $2556.10- $3107.16Bi-Weekly
