Snr Insights Analyst Media and Content

About the Role:

As a key member of our Media and Content team you will guide our content strategy by providing insights and recommendations based on high quality data analysis.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong background in content analysis and a proven track record of driving success in a fast-paced data-driven environment.

• Lead the content analysis team and oversee all data analysis activities related to sports and racing content strategy.
• Develop and implement a data-driven approach to content decision-making leveraging both internal and external data sources.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of content performance and audience engagement informing decisions on content acquisition production and promotions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Content Marketing and Product to develop and execute data-driven sports and racing content strategies.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate sports and racing content trends audience preferences and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Utilise data visualisation tools and other analytical techniques to present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to access relevant data and insights in the sports and racing sectors.
• Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations in a clear concise and compelling manner to influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
• Ensure data is analysed into meaningful actionable insights and recommendations that will improve decision making and consequently drive business performance.

About You:

• Business Analysis and Analytical Insight experience
• Data extraction and manipulation
• Proven record in delivering insights based on analytics and consultation with the business
• Strong stakeholder management
• Advanced level of SQL or equivalent
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with business intelligence tools e.g. Power BI
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools and dashboard design techniques
• Highly developed analytical skills
• Strong logic and ability to explain complex analysis in a simple way
• Ability to proactively explore and identify new sources of data to improve understanding of customer and product
