What Youll Be Doing
As a Welder youll:
Welding and Fabrication
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components for high-quality machinery.
- Prepare weld and finish complex fabrications with precision and attention to detail.
- Work on small or single-unit production series ensuring all work complies with technical drawings and quality standards.
Equipment Setup and Maintenance
- Calibrate and set up welding equipment according to company procedures and safety regulations.
- Conduct basic maintenance on tools and escalate larger issues to the Team Leader.
Quality Control and Safety
- Inspect parts for quality dimensions and proper finish.
- Safely operate industrial equipment such as cranes following health and safety standards.
- Adhere to productivity targets and supply lead times set by the Team Leader.

What Kind of Person Are You
At Marel we value diversity and encourage every team member to bring their authentic self to work. To succeed in this role you should have:
Technical Skills and Education
- Secondary education in a relevant technical field (meeting local requirements).
- Certified TIG welding skills or equivalent certification.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use operational software.
Experience
- Proven expertise in welding and welding technology especially with stainless steel.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and processes.
Attributes
- A problem-solver with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Punctual and safety-conscious adhering to schedules and protocols.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50 lbs stand and bend repeatedly.
