The UF Higher Education Administration and Policy program sits in one of the top 5 public colleges of education for graduate studies and was instrumental in creating Floridas community college system. We have a rich history of research and scholarship in higher education leadership policy and practice. We seek established candidates with scholarly interests focused on higher education administration and policy. Regardless of area of study we seek a colleague who can advance knowledge in the field of higher education and enhance the research teaching and service of the Higher Education Administration and Policy program. We encourage scholars with strong methodological training an established track record of external funding and interest in building on our strong legacy of research-practice partnerships to apply for this position. The successful applicant for this tenure-track/tenured open-rank professor position is expected to maintain a clear systematic line of research; seek external research funding; publish in scholarly journals; present research findings at meetings of professional associations; contribute to advising and teaching especially recruiting and mentoring doctoral students. The faculty member will also engage in service to the program school college university and profession. Additionally the successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative projects with our extensive alumni network or leadership through the Institute of Higher Education at the University of Floridaan interdisciplinary research center housed within the College of Education. Teaching research and service expectations are commensurate with academic rank.
