Job Summary

Design Engineer (Frontend / UI) 5 days onsite in Irvine

We are seeking a Design Engineer to bridge the gap between design and development on innovative social this role youll translate sophisticated Figma designs into production-quality React components while ensuring seamless responsive user experiences. Youll work closely with both designers and engineers moving fluidly between design iteration and frontend implementation in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Transform Figma designs into responsive pixel-perfect React components
Build interactive user-friendly social network interfaces for web and mobile
Develop and maintain reusable components and design systems
Collaborate with designers to refine concepts and provide technical feedback
Optimize frontend performance and ensure smooth user interactions
Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services

Requirements

57 years of frontend development experience with strong expertise in React
Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript/TypeScript
Advanced Figma skills including design systems and prototyping
Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
Track record of building and shipping user-facing applications
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across design and engineering teams

Nice to Have

Experience with animation libraries (e.g. Framer Motion)
Exposure to mobile development (Swift/Kotlin)
Familiarity with backend systems APIs or testing frameworks
