MUSC Health Camden Womens Pavillion

The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for guiding and assigning tasks to the medical support staff who handle a variety of clinic duties including front desk operations and clinical responsibilities. By overseeing the medical support team and collaborating with clinicians the Clinic Coordinator aims to guarantee the provision of high-quality clinical care efficiently.

Additionally provide administrative coverage at the front desk of the Clinic including monitoring the clinic appointment line to include scheduling appointments for clients from outside medical hospital correction systems.

Job Description

Provides direct line management and leadership for all patient care areas. Ensures proper standards are followed for nursing practice and provides interface between the support services and clinical services. Facilitates care delivery system development and operation including but not limited to staffing and professional delivery of services. Manages daily operations of clinical and clerical employees including staffing schedules while maintaining an efficient and professional work atmosphere. Develops and sets goals at the process job and interface level to ensure optimal patient care in order to meet overall organizational goals.
