Software Engineer for Global AI Platform in Medical Imaging
Are you an (AI-native) software engineer with a passion for technology and a strong desire to work on the development of life-critical IT systems in the healthcare sector Do you want to be part of a team that constantly challenges itself and drives innovation forward
We are now looking for a motivated and technically skilled software engineer to join our Amplifier group. The Amplifier group is responsible for a SaaS offering called Amplifier Services a fully managed service allowing Sectra PACS customers to easily access AI applications for clinical use. Our service offering consists of a combination of our own software products (Amplifier Platform and Connector Proxy) combined with Sectras other products and services and the use of Azure for deployment. Through our service we are part of an ongoing revolution within healthcare where AI goes from being a pipe dream to a clinical reality making a difference for both patients and healthcare providers.

What you will do
- Design build and maintain high-quality services and applications used in medical imaging workflows.
- Apply AI tools (e.g. code assistants code generators) responsibly to increase velocity without compromising quality security or cost.
- Collaborate with product management operations clinicians and end-users to translate clinical needs into robust solutions.
- Own features end-to-end: design implementation testing observability documentation and deployment.
- Implement and uphold strong engineering practices: CI/CD automated testing code reviews performance profiling etc.
- Work with medical imaging standards and infrastructure (e.g. DICOM HL7/FHIR PACS/VNA cloud services).
- Continuously learn: evaluate new tools frameworks and AI capabilities; share knowledge across the team.

This role is based at our headquarters in Linköping.
