Program set up and operate complex CNC milling and turning jobs (3- 4- and 5-axis).
Work on prototype and low-volume parts that require creativity precision and adaptability.
Design fixtures select tooling and develop efficient machining strategies.
Inspect parts to tight aerospace-level tolerances and ensure first-article success.
Mentor and support junior machinists to help build technical depth within the team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and shop efficiency.
Qualifications :
Expert-level CNC machining experience able to work from drawing/CAD to finished part.
Proven success in tight-tolerance machining; aerospace or defense background strongly preferred.
Strong CAM programming skills using platforms such as NX Mastercam Fusion 360 or GibbsCAM (Siemens NX is a plus).
Deep understanding of fixturing tooling speeds/feeds and prototype problem-solving.
Solid grasp of quality control standards inspection tools and best practices.
Self-directed organized and collaborative with strong communication skills.
