About the Team:
The Amazon Cart & Checkout teams is at the owner of enhancing customer shopping experiences working on Address Cart & Checkout application services. We operate in a dynamic environment handling vast data volumes and building multi-tiered low-latency distributed systems at scale.
About the Role:
Were seeking a full stack software development engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing highly resilient checkout solutions. Youll focus on optimizing system performance ensuring code quality and testability and conducting business investigations. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers and requires experience with large-scale applications. Success in this position demands a passion for engineering excellence and a commitment to operational excellence within the Amazon ecosystem.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
