Ware Junior Senior High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for Grade 8.- Massachusetts Licensure for Moderate Disabilities at appropriate grade level- Collaborate and coordinate with general education teachers and related service providers- Collaborate and coordinate with paraprofessionals- Prepare and provide specially designed instruction in the general curriculum and other educational needs (i.e. social emotional vocational preparation or experience)-Administer appropriate assessments and use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and improve student learning - Experience facilitating IEP team meetings and developing IEPs - Knowledge of inclusive practices and co-teaching strategies transition planning culturally responsive practices social emotional learning and positive behavior supports - Develop and monitor IEP goals and services for students- Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect students progress- Implement IEPs monitor and assess student performance document and provide evidence of student progress
