Job Description
Role: Senior Construction Manager (TS)
Contract Duration: 11/03/2025 - 12/31/2026
Work Schedule: 2wks in/ 2wks out 11 hrs per day
Work Location: Cigar Lake SK - flights from Saskatoon SK only
Rate: $65 - $100/INC
Role Description / Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility and accountability to ensure that all individuals on the construction site are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements
- Oversee the execution of field work ensuring it is completed efficiently and effectively while meeting all contractual requirements
- Monitor the schedule and productivity of work and work constructively with contractors and internal teams to drive improvements
- Work collaboratively with the contractors and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers
- Work collaboratively with the contractor on all aspects of planning to enable efficient work to progress in the field
- Coordinate field activities between contractors and the Cameco operations team as required
Skills / Previous Experience
- Previous experience as a construction manager is considered an asset
- Previous experience at a nuclear facility preferred
Northern Saskatchewan Based:
Pre-Access Training /Qualification Activities
- To be assigned and completed in ISN prior start
o Site Orientation (*Location specific - add one of the following based on work site location*)
- A1 - Cigar Lake Site Orientation
- A2 - Key Lake Site Orientation
- A3 - McArthur River Underground Orientation & A4 - McArthur Surface Orientation
- A5 - Rabbit Lake Surface Orientation
o Surface Pre Access OR Underground Pre Access (this includes completion of a substance test)
- A6 - Surface - Pre Access
- A7 - Underground - Pre Access
Ontario Based:
Pre-Access Training /Qualification Activities
- To be completed prior to start
o Background check - submit completed Facility Access Security Clearance form (found in reference library) to site security
o Pre-access substance test
