Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable populations and creating a safe supportive environment for those in need Our organization is looking for compassionate motivated individuals to join our Shelter Staff this vital role youll be at the heart of shelter operations helping to maintain a secure and welcoming space for both clients and volunteers.

As Shelter Staff your main responsibility is ensuring the safety and well-being of the shelters residents. You will utilize your skills in crisis intervention trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques to assist clients through their challenges working closely with them to resolve conflicts and navigate their day-to-day lives in the shelter. Ongoing professional development and training will be provided to support your growth in these areas.

In addition to client interaction youll help manage daily shelter operations including cleaning organizing and meal setups. Strong communication is key as you will report observations and incidents to the shelter leadership team to ensure proper follow-up. By creating a calm structured environment youll be making a lasting impact on the lives of the individuals we serve.

Who Were Looking For

Were seeking candidates with a background in social work psychology human services or related fields along with experience working with homeless populations. If you can remain calm under pressure work well independently and have a compassionate approach to working with diverse communities this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We currently have the following full-time swing shifts (3:00 p.m. - 11:15 p.m.) available at our shelter in Bellevue WA.

• Sunday - Thursday (40 hours)
