For the Global RPA Expertise Center DHL Express is looking for a motivated and results-oriented AI Senior Business Analyst.
About DAC
The Digital Automation Center (DAC) based in Maastricht is the Express Global RPA AI Agentic expertise centerfrom which high-quality and complex digital services are provided for various DHL business units globally and cross functional. Besides RPA other digital technologies are being used (GENAI API Smart OCR image processing and others). DAC has also teams respectively based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and San Jose Costa Rica.
Working within DAC is quite exciting as we are active within all functional areas (such as Customer Service Customs Network Operations etc.) within the DHL Express organization and fully focused on digitalization and automation. We are part of the CEO Office - Strategic Projects & Programs.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL
As AI adoption continues to grow the role of AI Senior Business Analyst will become increasingly will be crucial in bridging the gap between AI capabilities and business needs.
Being an AI Senior Business Analyst you will be expected to analyze business processes and identify areas where AI can be applied to improve efficiency productivity or decision-making. Besides AI related projects the AI Senior BA is expected to manage (global) deployment projects as well as to be able to assume the lead in managing suitable project streams/workgroups taking responsibility for the necessary people project and performance management aspects. Your analytical and conceptual capabilities meet the challenges posed by complex problems. Your work also involves doing detailed process analyses to monitor digital solutions and to identify gaps where actions would be necessary.
Support the execution of digital automation projects in collaboration with the Program Manager
Deploy solutions across the regions/globally
Independent work on Digital projects (from end-to-end) with limited guidance from project lead. Lead streams or (smaller) project teams
Translate project requirements into project objectives and tasks
Deploy best practices to optimize processes systems and methods using relevant data
Involvement in the analysis of the business processes as well as the derivation of problem areas and automation requirements;
Promoting AI Adoption: Guiding the implementation of AI solutions ensuring that they are aligned with business objectives and driving their adoption across the organization.
Facilitating communication and collaboration between technical teams (data scientists engineers developers).
Understanding AI Outputs: Interpreting the results of AI models distinguishing between meaningful insights and noise and translating these findings into understandable language for business stakeholders.
Being able over time to create your own (lowcode) GenAI solution
Monitor the RPA/AI Power BI reporting suite analyze deviation and identify areas for improvement;
Drive the identification of new strategic application fields or products by applying innovative Digital Automation methods and technologies.
Support in producing successful outcomes of Digital Automation products and communication as such.
Manage complexity: multiple stakeholders multiple countries and gain buy-in for project goals and decisions with tough and diverse stakeholder groups
Coach peers
Do you have what it takes
Qualified University Degree holder specializing in IT field (Software Development) or equivalent work experience.
Good understanding of IT development process;
5-7 years DHL experience affinity with Digi technologies is beneficial
Proficient in AI concepts and technologies (GENAI data analysis etc.).
At least 5 years experience in leading successful Projects of large scale across multiple regions
Experience with project methodologies such as Agile methodology is a plus
Experience with Power BI is a plus
Strong interest in (Agentic) Robotic Process and other digital automation areas.
Innovative creative mindset Self-motivated energetic and enthusiastic.
