Job Summary and Responsibilities
Northridge Hospital Medical Centeris seeking a dedicated and experiencedEnvironmental Services Supervisorto join our vital team. The Environmental Services Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for our patients staff and visitors. This position is responsible for directly overseeing training and guiding a team of Environmental Services Technicians to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness infection control and operational efficiency throughout the you are a proactive leader with a strong work ethic meticulous attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional healthcare environments we encourage you to apply!
- Directly supervise schedule train and evaluate Environmental Services Associates on assigned shifts.
- Provide ongoing coaching mentoring and performance feedback to team members.
- Inspect and monitor assigned areas (patient rooms operating rooms clinic spaces waiting areas offices restrooms etc.) to ensure cleanliness sanitation and adherence to established standards and protocols.
- Verify proper use of cleaning chemicals equipment and infection control techniques (e.g. proper PPE isolation room cleaning).
- Enforce all hospital safety policies including universal precautions proper body mechanics and chemical handling.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 Years in Environmental Services required.
- 1 Year of supervisory level experience in supervising staff preferred
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification preferred.
- Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
