8 Hour PM Shift Alternating between AM and PM weekend shifts

What you bring to SBHG:

High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED HiSET etc.) required
Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
Must possess a valid CA drivers license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience performing non-professional consumer-directed services in mental health health care or social service agency.
One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility preferred. Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
Ability to physically assist in lifting and carrying food service supplies and equipment without restriction.

How you will make a difference:

This position has primary responsibility for coaching clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); preparing meals snacks shopping for food and other various life skills. Assist with and supervise meal preparation in accordance with current applicable federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations. Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and the facilities are maintained in a safe and clean manner. Assist with client laundry household cleaning and other tasks as needed. This position performs a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean orderly sanitary and attractive condition.

Division/Program Overview:

The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility tailored to adults aged 18-59 experiencing psychiatric crises. Its purpose is to provide a safe environment for stabilization recovery and community transition. Services offered include round-the-clock programs therapeutic and mental health services rehabilitation and recovery support (including substance use rehabilitation) pre-vocational or vocational counseling medication evaluation and support daily exercise health/wellness education and crisis intervention.

In accordance with California law the grade for this position is 16.50 - 23.03. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience internal equity and other factors permitted by law.
