Featured Assistant Coach Opportunity | We are currently seeking an Assistant Coach for Baseball to join our athletics team. The Assistant Coach will work alongside the Head Coach to support the leadership and development of a comprehensive NCAA Division III baseball program. Responsibilities include: - Collaborating with the Head Coach to plan and run team practices and training sessions
- Delivering position-focused coaching and helping players develop key skills
- Assisting with recruiting scouting and talent evaluation efforts
- Supporting the overall administration and day-to-day operations of the program
The successful candidate will help foster a culture of excellence inclusivity and student-athlete success both on and off the field. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on student-athletes while supporting the continued growth of Rensselaers Baseball program. - Estimated Fixed Term: October 20 2025 June 30 2026
- Housing: This position does not include on-campus housing.
- Expected hiring range: $16.00 per hour (Estimated 10 hours per week)

Minimum Qualifications | - Education: Bachelors Degree
- Experience:One (1) year of related experience
- Valid US Driver License
- Applicants must meet stated minimum education and experience requirements.
- Pre-employment physical required

Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities | - Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the specified sports program.
- Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
- Familiarity of athletic recruitment methods and techniques.
- Ability to guide student-athletes in area of specialty.
- Ability to initiate develop and maintain appropriate contacts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to read understand follow and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Ability to identify athletic skill levels of potential student athletes
