What you will do

We are looking for a Senior People Advisor to support our Nordics Contract Logistics leadership team to be based on-site at our Maersk site in Taulov Fredericia. You will be the primary HR partner for the region working closely with site leadership to provide end-to-end HR support. You will be part of the Front Line People Organization (FLPO) team and report to the Head of HR FLPO for Nordics.

This role requires a broad HR toolbox covering recruitment onboarding employee relations performance management HR administration compliance and local HR initiatives. You will combine operational expertise with strategic insight to create a positive efficient and high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to HR expert on-site for employees and managers ensuring every HR interaction delivers a positive experience.
  • Advise and support leadership on people-related matters including staffing employee relations policy implementation and engagement initiatives.
  • Lead recruitment for on-site operational roles and support hiring for office-based positions in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Use Workday for case management data entry and tracking HR processes.
  • Drive HR strategies locally to improve employee satisfaction retention and workplace culture.
  • Support HR cycle activities including onboarding performance reviews internal job changes and exits ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Maintain compliance by ensuring HR documents policies and employee records are accurate complete and up to date.
  • Provide accurate and timely employee data to support payroll processing in close coordination with the payroll team.

Were looking for someone who is proactive takes ownership and thrives on creating a great employee experience. You will combine strong operational HR knowledge with the ability to influence and support leaders in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed in this role you should have:

  • Solid experience across the full HR cycle including recruitment onboarding employee relations and offboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of Danish labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience working in structured environments with union agreements and a workforce of operational employees where you can balance business needs and employee engagement.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and leaders.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Danish and English.
  • Experience with Workday or another HRIS is an advantage.
