Job Summary:
The Benefits Manager is responsible for the design implementation and administration of employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans wellness initiatives and leave policies. This role ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and works to align benefits offerings with the organizations strategic goals and employee needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design manage and evaluate employee benefits programs including health dental vision life disability and retirement plans.
Act as the main contact for benefits-related inquiries from employees vendors and brokers.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Analyze market trends and benchmark data to recommend cost-effective and competitive benefit strategies.
Lead the annual open enrollment process including communications system updates and employee support.
Coordinate with payroll and HRIS teams to maintain accurate benefits data and ensure proper deductions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (Masters preferred).
5 years of experience in benefits administration or HR management.
Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.
Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems.
Excellent communication analytical and organizational skills.
Professional certification is a plus.
